  • K2'3

    K2'3

    £3,900.00
PROBABLY STILL THE FINEST TANDEM PARAGLIDER AVAILABLE TODAY The predecessor, our K22, was often described by experienced tandem pilots as the most versatile, fun and lively tandem wing on the market; we know of several professional tandem pilots who would take it out for acro sessions with their friends to wind down after a long day of taking paying passengers up – this has to be the best indicator of the FUN factor inherent in this design! The K23 continues in the footsteps of this highly esteemed design. Our R&D guys have refined the details and kept the basics, so that commercial and leasure tandem pilots alike may enjoy the best wing in its class even more!
  • UP Ascent 4 (DHV-1)

    UP Ascent 4 (DHV-1)

    £2,700.00
The reduced weight of the glider makes for easy carrying and less inertia overhead. Launching the Ascent4 with beginner skills, the glider wants to come up cleanly and evenly overhead. New generation airfoil (NGA), Mini Ribs, Air intake pockets (AIP) as well as 3D shaping, help to optimize the airstream and therefore result in a more stable and performance-enhancing style of flying. Reduced Lineset make pre-flight line checks easier and decrease drag, allowing for more performance. Labels on risers aid the pilot during instruction and stressful situations Five different glider sizes, from 50 to 130 kg, help ensure the ideal relationship between pilot weight and glider size. Swept-back wingtips - improved handling, better climbing Brake Tensioning System: Trailing edge tension is good for handling and safety, but influences performance negatively. With BTS the tension is only there when you need it Exchangeable Front Section Support system (FSS) Nylon battens in the leading edge - a lifetime of perfect leading edge shape TECHNICAL DATA SIZE XS S SM M L Surface area flat (m2) 21,0 23,3 25,5 27,6 29,4 Surface area projected (m2) 18,3 20,3 22,2 24,0 25,6 Flat span (m) 10,1 10,6 11,1 11,5 11,9 Projected span (m) 7,87 8,30 8,68 9,02 9,31 Flat aspect ratio 4,8 4,8 4,8 4,8 4,8 Projected aspect ratio 3,39 3,39 3,39 3,39 3,39 Chambers/cells 34 34 34 34 34 Total line length incl. UP Makalu 4

    £2,900.00
The new Makalu 4 is everything you ever dreamed of in the EN B class - it is SUPER stable, very easy and forgiving to fly, but has LOADS of FUN built in. It is literally built to explore on; explore the whole free-flying idea as well as explore in a geographical sense. There'll be schools out there who choose the Makalu 4 to teach on, and it is THE greatest tool for taking the first aerial steps out of school. You'll have FUN doing it, Improved handling and better performance compared to the "3", but exactly as easy and safe to fly 3-liner riser design - easy sorting of the lines, minimum drag = more performance Mini-ribs in the trailing edge serve to keep that part of the wing under control in the air, and help performance too Swept-back wingtips improve handling and stall characteristics just like on the higher rated wings Improved riser design with RonstanTM pulleys for efficient use of the speed system with increased top speed Improved handling and increased performance compared to the Makalu 3, but still the same kind of "safety first" glider Front Section Support system (FSS) for perfect leading edge definition (=high speed stability), light weight and easy packing. Drag reduction by keeping the leading edge clean and in shape Brake Tensioning System (BTS) for crisper handling and optimum tension on the trailing edge 3D panel shaping - reduces the wrinkles in the canopy = better performance UP-typical curved cell openings – stronger leading edge in turbulence and reduced drag Magnetic poppers on the brake handles Five sizes – XS, S, S/M, M and L – to cover a weight range from 55 to 130kgs
